• Do you offer a free intro call?

  Yes — every new client gets a free 15-minute intro call so we can align on goals before committing to anything.

• How long does it take to feel confident in German?

  It depends on your goals, but most students reach conversational fluency (B1) within 8–12 months of weekly lessons.

• What kinds of copy editing do you take on?

  Non-fiction writing — articles, newsletters, websites, flyers, books. I’m at my best with business and travel writing thanks to my background in tourism and organisational communication.

• What do your services cost?

  Rates depend on the project. Book the intro call (German) or send a sample (copy editing) and I’ll come back with a quote.

• Where are you based, and what time zones do you work with?

  I’m based in South Africa (CAT, UTC+2). I work with clients across Europe, Africa, and the Americas. Most lessons fit into evening or morning slots that work for both sides.

• Do you take on rush copy-editing jobs?

  Sometimes yes — depends on my current schedule. Send the deadline along with your draft and I’ll tell you straight if I can hit it.

• What’s the cancellation policy for German lessons?

  Free rescheduling with 24 hours’ notice. Inside 24 hours, the session is charged but I’ll do my best to accommodate the next request.
